Santa Cruz Boardwalk, California’s oldest surviving amusement park was found in 1906 and has been operated by the Santa Cruz Seaside Company since 1915. Two of the many thrill rides has been named National Historic Landmarks. The Classic Looff Carouse, built in 1911 takes visitors on a journey to a timeless era of lights and music and the 1924 built wooden roller coaster, Giant Dipper. The Boardwalk is one of the best seaside amusement parks still around today and offers fun and excitement for the entire family. With its free admission, families can’t go wrong. Three fast-paced rides, Wipeout, Tornado, and Hurricane give riders an extraordinary view of the ocean below. Neptune’s Kingdom is full of fun-filled action as it offers mini-golf, arcade games, rock climbing, and Wild West Shoot Out. There is also a laser tag maze and a haunted house.
